This unit has a 1-Watt average power rating, 1.30:1 maximum VSWR, +/- 1.0 dB maximum insertion loss (above theoretical loss). The operating temperature range is -20° C to +100° C and the RF connectors are SMA female. This model was designed for a tactical radio application.</p>
<p>Resistive power dividers have inherent characteristics that make them an excellent choice for certain applications. These units are small, extremely broadband, and are the only type of power divider that operates DC onwards.</p>
<p>A resistive power divider has a power ratio of (1/N)2 (where N is the number of outputs) when compared to a reactive power divider which has a power ration of 1/N. This means for a 2-way divider with 1-Watt input power, a reactive unit’s output port will have 0.5-Watts (50% or 3 dB loss) of power on each port, while a resistive divider’s output will have 0.25-Watts (25% or 6 dB loss) of power on each port.</p>
<p>Resistive dividers loss includes distribution loss and inherent resistive loss, unlike the “lossless” reactive dividers (which only have distribution loss). Insertion loss of a resistive power divider is double that of a similar reactive unit. In a resistive power divider, insertion loss = isolation</p>

The maximum VSWR is 1.35:1, the maximum voltage is 100 Vdc and the RF connectors are BNC female / BNC female. This model was designed to clean up Airband Radio interference issues.</p>
<p>DC Blocks allow RF to pass through a circuit with minimal interference while preventing DC from passing through the circuit. Applications include ground loop elimination, signal source modulation leakage suppression, system signal-to-noise ratio improvement, and test setup isolation. Inner DC Blocks are realized by placing a capacitor of varying capacitance in series with the center conductor. The required frequency range, voltage breakdown and desired insertion loss determine the capacitance value selected.</p>
<p>BroadWave Technologies offers DC Block solutions in 50 and 75 Ω impedances with a variety of standard RF connector combinations. Between series RF connector configurations are available upon request. Please contact us with your unique requirement for the appropriate model number.</p>
